My Dream Home on the Pacific Coast of Oaxaca
My two best friends and I are finally launching Monte Lalala, our dream home in Oaxaca, Mexico. After more than five years of paperwork, design, and construction, we’re thrilled to welcome you starting January 1, 2025.
We’ve always joked that Monte lalala is our full-time side project. What started as a dream has turned into a labor of love —and exhaustion. It’s been a long, winding road, filled with challenges, surprises, and moments where we wondered, “will this ever be done?”
The truth? We are tired. We are broke. But most importantly, we are proud.
Every corener of this house has a story. Each tile, beam, and brushstroke has been touched by countless hours of work, sweat, and determination. It’s become a reflection of everything we love about Mexico —Its colors, its warmth, its magic.
And now, as the finishing touches start to take shape, we can’t wait to share it with you. Monte Lalala isn’t just a house; it’s a place we hope will inspire joy, connection, and a little bit of that lalala feeling of freedom.
Honestly, all we can think about is the day we finally dive into the pool with a cold beer in hand. (Trust us, that moment is coming!)
